Here’s how we define each of the categories:
Actual Humans: Collaborators such as guides, hosts, specialists, & other relevant supporting staff.
Mid-size businesses: Independent companies (LLC´s) with more than 5 employees who provide travel related services such as lodging, transportation, food, activities, etc…
Small businesses: Independent companies or entrepeneurships (LLC´s) with 5 or less employees who provide travel related services such as lodging, transportation, food, activities, etc…
Communities: Attractions or activities located at rural or non-urban areas that are either small scale or run by ejido co-ops.
Non-Profits: Attractions or activities run by NGO´s, charities & other types of conservation or philanthropic entities.
Government: Attractions or activities run by government branches: National parks, archeological sites, museums etc.
Corporations: Large-scale businesses such as major hotel chains or airlines.
